Elissa Gonzales is a Character Designer/Visual Development Artist, currently based in LA after graduating in December of 2020. Growing up with a passion for animation that stemmed from old Disney films and Hanna-Barbera cartoons like Johnny Quest and The Jetsons, she now works to integrate her own style of adventure, humor and nostalgia into her designs. Utilizing memory of many childhood thoughts and ideas, as well as daily-life’s many inspirations, she enjoys sketching and the process of pushing a design to it’s fullest potential. Enjoying the team environment, she has been lucky enough to follow her dreams into character design at WBPA, learning the nitty gritty of it’s pipeline process one day at a time. Too awkward to be in front of the camera, acting through the pencil is where her passion lies, and strives to spread life and connection for audiences as she begins her full journey into the industry.
